Just like any other organ in body our heart is also prone to develop some abnormal growth within it (tumour), they can be secondaries from other tumours or a primary tumour.

Primary tumour is commonly Myxoma usually arises from interatrial septum. It is mostly benign in nature, but a very fragile tumor. and can cause recurrent embolisms apart from systemic symptoms of malaise , fever, loss of appetite. Once diagnosed this tumour should be treated as an emergency.
